Could this have helped us this month? maybe it happend fo a good reason!?

i skipped a period for the month of sept. this was the first time i have ever missed a perod in my life! so the doc gave me some progeserone pills to help start my period. i started on oct.22 and am now on day 20 of my cycle. i usually have a 30 day cycle, but not sure about this one since i mssed my period. will these pills help me be more fertile this cycle? we BD on days 9,12, 13, 16, 18, and today. got a pos O test on day 16 and stretchy cm. are my chances better this month?
