How do you do MLA citations for a graphic novel?

I have to write an essay on "the Watchemen" for my Sci-fi cl and I would like to directly quote one of the characters in the graphic novel. The problem is, I don't know how to apply MLA formatting in in-text quotations for this source. It is divided into chapters, but doesn't use consecutive number. If you've never seen the book, its more like a compilation of short-story pieces. Please help!
